Cookie Policy

This page explains which cookies and equivalent local storage technologies are used on the KAMAS platform and on salons' public pages, for which purposes, and how you can manage your choices.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device while browsing. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage and session storage, also store information on the device and are treated here in the same way as cookies.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These items are essential for the site to work and do not require consent under Article 45c of the Swiss Telecommunications Act and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC.

  • Authentication session: keeps the professional user signed in to the private area. Duration: until sign-out or token expiry.
  • Security: protection against repeated login attempts and two-factor verification. Duration: up to twelve months.
  • Language preference: stores the selected language (Italian, English, German, French). Duration: twelve months.
  • Salon theme: stores the colours of the salon's public page to avoid flickering on load. Duration: twelve months.
  • Cookie preference: stores the choice made in the banner. Duration: twelve months.

3. Measurement and marketing cookies

As at the last update, the platform does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other advertising profiling tools and does not set third-party tracking cookies. The statistics shown to salons are computed solely from booking data already stored in the database, without behavioural tracking.

Should measurement or marketing tools be introduced in the future, they will not be activated before explicit consent is obtained through the cookie banner, and this page will be updated accordingly.

4. Managing consent

On first visit a banner is shown allowing you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones or manage preferences by category. The choice can be changed at any time by reopening the preferences panel from the banner, or by clearing the site data in your browser settings.

Refusing non-essential cookies does not limit in any way the ability to book an appointment or to use the private area.

5. Technically necessary third-party cookies

Some essential services may set their own technical cookies: the infrastructure provider (Supabase) for authentication and session security, and the payment provider (Stripe) on subscription pages. These services process data according to their own policies and do not use it for advertising profiling on behalf of KAMAS.
